BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, on September 21, 2015 at 4 a.m., Tiffany Nicole Wilder, 24, of Charleston, was traveling west on I-26 near mile marker 188 when her Toyota ran off the left side of the roadway.
She then over-corrected and ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree and was pinned in the vehicle, the coroner added.
Salisbury said that she was pronounced dead on the scene.
She was reportedly wearing a seatbelt.
The accident was investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
