BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Marrington Middle School of the Arts has achieved one-to-one!
The school now has 499 electronic devices for its students.
“This has been a fiscal and academic goal for several years. The realization of this goal would not have occurred without a strong daycare program, which generated the funds, and Berkeley County School District’s Office of Technology, which helped us every step of the way. To all who played a part in making this happen for our students, thank you!” said Dr. Jim Spencer, principal of Marrington Middle School of the Arts,
A widely used term, one-to-one learning, refers to a school, school district or state providing each student with his or her own laptop, netbook, tablet computer or other mobile device to enhance learning experiences.
