BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Due to the forecast of heavy rain for tomorrow, resulting from Hurricane Joaquin, Berkeley County School District has announced plans to cancel classes and closed offices for tomorrow, Friday, October 2, 2015.
School officials have also announced that all extra-curricular activities scheduled for October 2, 2015 and October, 3, 2015 have been cancelled and will be rescheduled if possible.
This includes all athletic events, practices, club meetings, SAT testing at BCSD schools, and competitions.
At this time, BCSD has rescheduled five varsity football games. The following is a schedule of football games to be played Thursday, October 1, 2015:
* Stratford High School vs. Summerville High School, October 1, 2015, 7 p.m. at Stratford High School
The following is a schedule of football games to be played Monday, October 5, 2015:
* Berkeley High vs. Beaufort at 7 p.m. at Berkeley High School,
* Cross High School vs. Burke High School at 7 p.m. at Cross High School
* Hanahan High School vs. Hilton Head High School at 7 p.m. at Hilton Head High
*Timberland High vs. Kingstree at 7 p.m. at Timberland High School
