Goose Creek Disaster Recovery Center Will Relocate to Summerville

GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–The Berkeley County Magistrate’s Office disaster recovery center located at 303 North Goose Creek Blvd. in Goose Creek will relocate to Summerville on Friday.

The center temporarily closed Wednesday due to severe weather and was originally scheduled to reopen Thursday.

The location will be at the Pine Ridge Fire Department located at 565 Myers Road in Summerville.

It will open at 8 a.m. on Friday on November 20th.

To date, FEMA has distributed $64 million so far in relief.

In Berkeley County, more than 4,400 have registered for assistance.

The registration deadline is December 4th.
