Summerville Woman Killed in Three-Car Wreck a Short Distance from Home

ambulance BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–On Friday, April 1, at 10:30 p.m. 25 year old Jasmine Reid, of Summerville, was involved in a 3 car accident and died at the scene, Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury.

Reid was turning left on North Main Street (Highway 17-A) from Longstreet St. when she was struck by a northbound pickup.

A third vehicle was also involved in the accident.

Coroner Salisbury has ruled her death accidental and the Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating.

She was not wearing a seatbelt and was only several blocks for her home.
