GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–American Red Cross disaster-trained volunteers stated that they are assisting three adults after their home, located on Oak Drive in Berkeley County was destroyed by fire Tuesday night.
The Goose Creek Fire Department responded to the blaze, volunteers stated.
The Red Cross is meeting the immediate needs of the three people by providing comfort kits and financial assistance lodging.
Each year in the Lowcountry, the Red Cross provides food, shelter, comfort and hope to more than 1,200 people who face emergency situations.
