HANAHAN, S.C.–Officers with the Hanahan Police Department are on the the lookout for a man they believe is responsible for a rash of car break ins recently.
“I want our citizens to know that your police department is taking these break ins very seriously and this is still an active investigation,” stated Chief Dennis Turner with the Hanahan Police Department.
On May 16, 2016, Turner says his officers took several reports for unlocked vehicles being broken into the Dominion Hills subdivision.
It was later determined that a credit card was stolen from one of the vehicles and later used at a convenience store on Dorchester Road, Turner stated.
The subject who used the credit card was seen driving a newer model Ford F-150 that is black in color and a 4×4.
Police say the photo above was taken from the store’s surveillance when the stolen credit card was used.
If anyone has any information on the possible identity of this individual, please contact the Hanahan Police Department at 843-747-5711 or call Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
