BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, around 1 a.m. on Thursday deputies responded to the Sineath Mobile Home Park off of Wisteria Street in the Ladson area of Berkeley County in order to attempt to locate a wanted subject.
When the deputies arrived, they say the subject fled in a vehicle.
He was later identified as 35-year-old Timothy Klinner.
Klinner is wanted in both Dorchester and Berkeley County for failure to appear, and wanted in Charleston County for motor vehicle theft.
Deputies say the vehicle that Klinner was in possession of, a white Dodge Challenger, was reported to be stolen as well.
Berkeley County Sheriff’s deputies spotted the vehicle that Klinner was reported to be in and attempted to stop it as it was fleeing towards Summerville on Highway 78.
The pursuit continued until a Berkeley County deputy successfully deployed tire deflation devices, flattening all four tires.
Upon the vehicle be disabled, deputies say Klinner fled on foot. Deputies were not able to locate or apprehend Klinner after he fled near the area of the Poplar Grove subdivision.
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office helicopter was used to assist with attempting to locate Timothy Klinner but he was unable to be located.
Deputies are currently obtaining warrants for his related to the fleeing.
