MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – The Santee Cooper Board of Directors has approved two new officers. Dom Maddalone has been named senior vice president of information systems and chief information officer, and Rahul Dembla has been named vice president of planning and pricing.
Maddalone previously was Vice President of IT Infrastructure and Chief Technology Officer for Probuild, a nationwide lumber and building material supplier in Denver, Colorado, and as Director of Global IT for Norgren, a $1.5 billion global engineering and manufacturing firm also based in Colorado. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and a Master of Science in Information Systems and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
“Dom possesses 24 years of professional information technology executive experience with national and global businesses, where he has proven successful in implementing technology innovations to drive business results,” said Lonnie Carter, Santee Cooper president and CEO.
Dembla previously served as Director of Public Finance for public power and utilities with Barclays Capital in New York City. He has also worked for Lehman Brothers, A.T. Kearney and Siebel Systems. Dembla has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology and a MBA in Finance and Economics from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
