BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with locating Jesse “Chewy” Gil.
His last known address is in the Moncks Corner area although he has resided in both Berkeley and Charleston counties in the past.
Chief Deputy Mike Cochran says that he is wanted by Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office for failure to register as a sex offender 2nd offense. Gil is a Hispanic male, 5’8” and 180.
Gil has a distinctive tattoo of a “13” on his neck. Gil was placed on the registry after a 1999 Ohio conviction for the rape where the victim was under 13 years of age.
Any leads that can come in would be appreciated, according to Cochran.
