BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Traffic is back up and running along Highway 41 and Big Mac Lane in Huger after a head on collision in Huger involving an 18-wheeler and car Tuesday night.
First responders were dispatched to the scene around 7:20 p.m.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a car was traveling north when it crossed the center line and hit a semi head on.
SCHP officials said there were injuries involved; however, the condition of the parties involved is unknown.
A helicopter airlifted those injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
