GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–A Lowcountry teen wasn’t exactly thrilled to be in court recently; however, he was especially unhappy when the judge issued his sentence inside a Goose Creek courtroom.
Goose Creek police recently charged Kurtis McNeil, 18, with third degree domestic violence.
In court, the teen pleaded guilty to the charge, authorities stated.
However, when it came down to sentencing, McNeil was outraged after the judge told him he would have to pay a fee and spend 30 days behind bars.
A courtroom official stated that McNeil became livid and became physically and verbally disruptive. A witness stated that he also kicked over a desk as two Goose Creek police officers tried to restrain him.
McNeil is now facing additional charges.
