MONCKS CORNER, S.C.—According to Moncks Corner police, two people are behind bars following reports of shots fired in the area of Old Highway 52 near Plantation Apartments on Sunday.
A male victim reportedly told police that an ongoing “Facebook argument” ultimately led to a fight between him and 21-year-old Terrell Jones Williams.
According to the victim, several other males also grabbed him and pulled him off of Williams who then removed a modified AK47 with converted pistol grip from the vehicle he was driving and fired a shot that struck the victim’s car tire.
Moncks Corner officers say they located Williams’ vehicle and arrested him along with 23-year-old Oneal Jarrad Parker. Both had outstanding bench warrants for failure to appear.
A weapon was also recovered near the center console and secured, police stated.
Both Williams and Parker were transported, booked and lodged into the Hill-Finklea Detention Center.
Williams has also been charged with unlawfully carrying a handgun, possession with intent to distribute cocaine bases, driving under suspension 2nd offence and discharging a weapon in town limits.
Williams’ bonds totaled more than $16,000.
As of Monday, both Williams and Parker have yet to bond out of jail.
