GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–A Goose Creek man is recovering from his injuries after police say he was shot in the left forearm Sunday night.
According to officers, the victim was standing near his car along the 300-block of Slow Mill Drive when he says he was approached by a dark-colored vehicle with two men inside.
The passenger reportedly said a few words to the victim before shooting him and then fleeing the scene.
The victim was unable to provide any additional information on the suspect, the incident report stated.
Berkeley County EMS transported the victim to Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.
During the investigation, police say they located several spent shell casings and noticed where the victim’s car had eight bullet holes in it. Officers say they also noticed blood on the driver’s side as well and a gun partially under the driver front seat.
A witness described the suspect’s vehicle as a dark-colored hatchback. He also said the driver of that car appeared to be a white man, according the incident report.
No arrests have been made at this time. Police say the shooting remains under investigation.
