BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, three people are dead following a shooting in Moncks Corner early Friday morning.
Chief Deputiey Mike Cochran stated that officers responded to a 9-1-1 call of a shooting at 228 Macio Road shortly before 2 a.m.
Once they arrived on scene, deputies said that they found two people shot to death.
A third shooting victim was transported to a local hospital and later died, Cochran stated.
Authorities said that the motive for the shooting and relationship of the victims to the suspect are not known at this time.
A suspect, who’s name has not been released, is in custody with charges pending.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has released the names of the victims. They are:
- James Harrison: 62 years old from Summerville, SC
- Lance Donovan Kenyon: 47 years old from Moncks Corner, SC
- Harry Lee Gressette: 52 years old from Goose Creek, SC
