MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Berkeley County Government will host a public meeting at the Daniel Island School on Tuesday at 6PM about a new, major infrastructure project on Daniel Island.
The public meeting will provide presentations of a new roundabout at the intersection of Daniel Island Drive and Seven Farms Drive.
“The County is excited to share details about this major infrastructure improvement project that will improve the quality of life for our residents,” said Berkeley County Supervisor Bill Peagler. “The meeting is open to the public, and I strongly encourage those who live and work on Daniel Island to attend.”
County Councilman Josh Whitley echoed Peagler’s sentiments while stressing the significant impact this project will have on his Council District.
“Traffic analysis and projected growth in District 2 highlights the need of this roundabout,” said Whitley. “Not only will it improve traffic efficiency, but it will also improve safety for the residents of Berkeley County – all in the most fiscally responsible manner possible.”
