MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Steak lovers rejoice! Breck’s Steakhouse will soon open a new restaurant in the heart of Moncks Corner. The new food joint is scheduled to open some time in December at 108 E Railroad Avenue. That’s right off of Main St. by the train tracks.
It will open in Off The Rail’s old location. The restaurant recently closed its doors for business.
“We appreciate the support that you have given us and made this opportunity possible,” restaurant staff wrote on their official Facebook page. “We are so excited to be coming to Moncks Corner! Stay tuned!”
News of Breck’s Steakhouse coming to Berkeley County has generated lots of positive reaction on social media.
“So glad to hear this. Moncks Corner has needed a good steak house for a long time,” stated Bryant Murray.
“My husband and I have loved you for years and we have been waiting for a great steakhouse to come to Moncks Corner! Brecks is the greatest!” posted Karen Brabham Gibson.
“I’m sooooo excited! I can’t wait!” stated Brandy Mouzon Sims.
Breck’s Steakhouse currently has North Charleston location off of Rivers Avenue. The Moncks Corner restaurant will make the second location.
Since 1961 Breck’s Steakhouse has been serving families the biggest and best steaks in the Lowcountry.
Along with the restaurant’s enormous steaks, guests can also order burgers, sandwiches, wings or other home-made specialties and desserts.
The restaurant is currently hiring employees for the new location. Restaurant staff will be conducting a job fair in conjunction with the SC Works folks on Monday, November 7th from 10-2 pm at 108 E Railroad Ave in Moncks Corner.
The owners will be hiring for Front of House and Back of House staff. Experience is a plus but not necessary.
