MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Moncks Corner police are on the lookout for a suspect who they say stole a 4X6 white cargo trailer Monday.
Officers say the trailer was stolen from a home located along the 13-hundred block of Francis Marion Circle in the Stoney Landing subdivision in Moncks Corner.
Not long after the crime was committed, authorities say the trailer was eventually located at an area pawn shop.
Law enforcement officials are now on the lookout for the suspect.
A camera captured video of the suspect’s Ford Expedition hauling the stolen trailer on Monday shortly before 9:30 a.m. The vehicle appeared to be heading toward Strawberry on Old Highway 52, police stated.
Authorities say the SUV was driven by a white male with another white male in the passenger’s seat.
The trailer is said to have contained softball sports equipment such as bats, pitching machines, nets, etc.
