MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Aaron Thomas Woodley, 42, of Moncks Corner,on 12 charges connected to sexual exploitation of minors.
The Berkeley County Sheriffâs Office, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, made the arrest. Investigators with the Attorney Generalâs Office assisted with the investigation. Â
Investigators state that Woodley distributed child pornography via the Internet.

Woodley was arrested on Tuesday. He is charged with six counts Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Second Degree (§16-15-405) a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment; and six counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Third Degree (§16-15-410), a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment.Â

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.

Attorney General Wilson stressed all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
