GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–According to the Goose Creek Police Department, police are still actively looking for the suspect who robbed the Goose Creek CVS on St. James Avenue one day before New Year’s Eve.
Authorities say the crime happened around 7:15 p.m. and that the suspect was armed when he entered the pharmacy and demanded to know where the narcotics were located.
Police say he then forced the pharmacist to open the safe, removed the narcotics, and left the store through the rear emergency exit.
Fortunately, no employees or customers were injured.
Police say they are also trying to identify a white female that entered the store directly behind the suspect.
“We believe she may be able to assist with the investigation of this case,” stated Lt. Thomas Hill with GCPD.
