BERKELEY COUNTY, SC – Stoba, a manufacturer of machined components for the automobile industry, will officially open its new production plant in Berkeley County Wednesday afternoon.
The plant’s new location is at 2301 Charleston Regional Parkway.
The new development is expected to bring $7.7 million in capital investment and create 61 new jobs.
Stoba is a leader in the production of complex machined components for high-pressure injection systems.
“Stoba is world-renowned company, a leader in production,” said Berkeley County Supervisor Bill Peagler. “We’re honored Stoba is calling Berkeley County home and excited for its future here. Nearly seven months ago we made the announcement that Stoba was establishing production in Berkeley County. Now, seven months later, we’re thrilled with the job growth, investment and relationship that’s grown through this process.”
