GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Police say two men were about to place a food order inside the Wendy’s on Redbank Road before gunshots were fired in their direction Thursday.
The Goose Creek Police Department is now actively trying to identify the pair.
According to the incident report, the restaurant’s on duty manager stated that the two black males were standing in the front lobby near the front door waiting to place their order before the shooting occurred.
As they waited to place their order, she told police that she saw an SUV pull up outside the business near the front door. She then reportedly heard several gunshots she believed were being discharged from inside the vehicle towards the business, shattering the glass to the restaurant’s front door.
After the shots were fired, police say the two black males ran outside into the parking lot. She claims the man in the red shirt below started shooting at the unknown vehicle as it took off.
Both men eventually fled the scene in a dark in color sedan.
Officers say the male in the black shirt appears to have short dreadlocks and a long goatee. The male in the red, multi‐colored shirt had on a black Nike hat.
The silver SUV pictured was at the scene and departed not long after the individual inside opened fire.
