GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Goose Creek police are on the look out for a suspect they say recently robbed the Speedway gas station located in the Crowfield Plaza at 670 College Park Road in Goose Creek.
On Thursday, August 24th, 2017, at approximately 11:52 P.M., police say the subject was observed on video pointing a black handgun at the clerk before collecting money from the register and departing.
According to the victim, the suspect entered the business from the south entrance and
pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at him. He stated that he then opened the register and placed the cash drawer on
the counter. The suspect had him remove the cash from the drawer and hand it to him before fleeing the business through the same door towards Stratford High School.
The suspect was reportedly wearing a black shirt, black pants, black sneakers, a black unmarked bandanna across his face and a black baseball hat with a white C graphic.
The suspect appears to be is a black male who is approximately 6’00”.
