GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Starting Tuesday morning, Trident Health’s newest medical facility, CareNow® urgent care, will begin seeing patients for the first time in Goose Creek.
On Monday, hospital representatives along with the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce and local officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new facility. Trident Health is affiliating with the Texas-based CareNow® for its newest clinics.
“The Berkeley County community has been a wonderful partner with us during the planning to open our first CareNow® Urgent Care. Residents and community leaders are keenly aware of the growing need for additional access to healthcare,” Todd Gallati, Trident Health President and CEO, said. “We are pleased to open our first in Goose Creek and are looking forward to our second opening in North Charleston early next year.”
CareNow® urgent care treats many common health conditions like strep throat, the flu, acid reflux, allergies and more. The facility also offers medical tests, physical exams and immunizations. The clinic will also have X-ray and lab services onsite.
“As healthcare continues to evolve, consumers are looking for quality, convenient options for care and treatment,” said CareNow® President Tim Miller. “In Charleston, we are proud to partner with Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center, which have built its healthcare around quality care, convenience and access for patients. CareNow® will be a growing part of this system.”
CareNow® urgent care clinics are designed to keep patients comfortable and relaxed. Their modern facilities are bright, open and inviting.
The Goose Creek facility is open seven days a week and will stay open late. Patients can minimize their wait time with Web Check-In®.
The new facility is located at 515 St. James Avenue.
