SUMMERVILLE, S.C.–A Goose Creek teen has been arrested in connection with a weekend shooting at the Azalea Square move theater in Summerville.
Ryan Schwein, 18, has been charged with attempted murder as well as possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime in connection with the incident.
Police say when officers arrived to the scene, the victim stated that Schwein, tried to rob him and shot him in the right bicep.
Ironically, the victim and suspect were reportedly friends.
According to the incident report, Schwein ordered the victim to hand over his cell phone and wallet and put a small revolver to the victim’s head.
The victim, however, refused. That’s when the victim says he was shot.
Summerville police responded to the scene shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday.
There is not word on the victim’s condition.
