BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Investigators with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office say they are searching for a missing Moncks Corner man.
This missing person has been identified as Tyreek Jawaun Pettigrew, 20, of Ulmer Lane in Moncks Corner.
He is 5’10” and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen at the Fuel Express In Moncks Corner at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
The investigation initially began on February 22 when a deputy responded to an address on Ulmer Lane to relay a message to Pettigrew’s mother that her car was on fire in the Cainhoy area of Charleston County.
Investigators say Tyreek’s cell phone was pinged off of Jedburg Road at Whitehouse Road.
According to BCSO officials, Tyreek’s car was recovered by Charleston police the day after he was reported missing.
Tyreek was reportedly wearing a green and black shirt and black long pants. The vehicle he was driving is a black 2007 Infiniti G35.
