GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Agents with the S.C. Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged a Goose Creek man on Monday in connection with offering to pay $2,500 to murder another person.
Aaron McKenzie Capers, 18, has been charged with one count of solicitation to commit a felony.
Capers was booked into the Hill-Finklea Detention Center in Moncks Corner.
The case will be prosecuted by the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
Capers is no stranger to law enforcement in Berkeley and Charleston Counties.
Past charges include burglary, armed robbery and sexual misconduct.
In December 2017, Capers was arrested and charged for the home invasion and sexual assault of an 81-year-old woman.
During the home invasion police say an elderly female was forced at knife-point to perform a sexual act on Capers then was robbed of cash and financial cards.
