Berkeley County Adult Education Begins Registration for Berkeley Career Express Program

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Berkeley County Adult Education, with partnerships, will offer the Berkeley Career Express class at St. Stephen Elementary School in St. Stephen.

Berkeley Career Express prepares participants who need improving their basic skills before entering a career pathway training program.  Also, integrated into the curriculum are workplace reading and math skills, soft skills, digital literacy, GED preparation, WorkKeys preparation, resume writing, and mock interviews.

This nine-week onsite course consists of four hours of class time participation. Participants will also use the program’s Chromebooks (if available) at home, during their enrollment time.  All ALEKs homework, 4-6 hours each week, will be counted toward individuals’ attendance.

Registration Dates:   July 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th, and 31st

Time:   4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (must arrive by 5:10 p.m.)
