GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–One day after a shooting left one man injured, police are still actively looking for suspects.
“There are currently two juvenile persons of interest in this case and the Goose Creek Police Department is actively seeking them for questioning,” stated Lt. Thomas Hill.
On Wednesday at 1:14 p.m. GCPD officers were dispatched to the intersection of Stephanie Dr. and Annette Dr. in the Boulder Bluff subdivision in reference to a shooting victim on the ground at that location.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, an African American male, who was suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
EMS was summoned and transported the victim to Trident Medical Center.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the investigation, Hill stated.
