BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Investigators with the Moncks Corner Police Department have arrested a Charleston YMCA sports director for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman.
On Thursday, Officers charged 47-year-old Frederick George Brown of Moncks Coner with criminal sexual conduct 3rd degree.
A 43-year-old female victim reported that she was living in the same residence with Brown when he forcibly had non-consensual intercourse with her on August 16, 2018.
Police say the victim stated that he has forced her to have sexual relations with her several times previously.
Police detectives also found that Brown had a lengthy criminal record.
Brown is the sports director and finance officer of the Cannon Street YMCA in downtown Charleston.
He was transported to the Hill-Finklea Detention Center on a $25,000 bond and ordered not to have any contact with the victim.
