BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–The woman killed in Thursday’s car crash on Highway 52 has been identified.
On Thursday, Sept. 20, at 11:40 a.m., 38-year-old Catherine Parker, of Moncks Corner was involved in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 52 and Moss Grove Subdivision.
According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, her vehicle overturned and she was ejected and pronounced dead on the scene.
Her two children were transported to a local hospital and were admitted.
Her death was investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Moncks Corner Police Department.
Salisbury stated that she was not wearing a seatbelt.
