GOOSE CREEK, S.C.— The Goose Creek Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance for information regarding a disturbance near the rear entrance to Beckstone Apartments located at 100 Comet Creek Lane in Summerville.
On Tuesday around 1 a.m., police say a man contacted 9-1-1 after he heard a female scream outside of his apartment. After hearing the scream, police say he looked out of his apartment window and observed what he believed to be a black male forcing a black female into a newer model
When police arrived on the scene, they began searching the area. That’s when they observed several blood splatters and a spot where a large amount of blood was pooled.
“I also observed a broken piece of jewelry, a denim belt loop and several clumps of dyed red hair around the pool of blood,” stated an officer in the police report.”
There was also a large clump of the same hair with a rubber band around it approximately 6-7 feet from the blood pool.
“Based on the amount of blood and obvious signs of an apparent struggle, I took several photographs of the incident location,” stated the officer on scene.
