South Carolina Subway® restaurants near you are getting a refresh. Subway recently announced a multimillion-dollar investment to help Subway franchises complete its restaurant remodels by midyear 2020. Guests can expect a refreshed physical appearance at their favorite Subway restaurants across South Carolina and Northeast Georgia.

“My territory consists of 419 locations in South Carolina and now Georgia. This is a significant investment into our South Carolina and Georgia Subway guest experience,” says Ali Saifi, president and chief executive officer of Subway Development Corporation of South Carolina. “I am optimistic for the future of this great brand – so much so that I have expanded my development territory to include locations in Northeast Georgia. I trust our loyal guests will join us in this movement to a new era, and new look and feel of Subway restaurants.”

On average, each Subway location can cost more than $40,000 for a full remodel. The Subway brand’s investment of $10,000 per eligible location would cover nearly 25 percent of a remodel at any given location. The brand also made an $80 million investment in 2018 to enhance restaurants with new elements such as new flavor stations featuring new spices and sauces, new beverages, updated menu boards and new Sandwich Artist™ uniforms. The restaurant refresh investments are focused on creating a new and energized space for guests to enjoy the most popular sandwiches in the world.

“Our restaurants will continue to provide the same tasty meals our guests know and love, but with a twist they will not experience anywhere else. While still honoring the classics, our menu is ever-growing with delicious products, such as our Signature Wraps, and we are looking forward to exciting new products in the near future,” says Saifi. “We are simply providing a refreshed look and feel for the restaurants to set a new standard for how the brand will continue to grow with the times. We are eager to see where the future of our progressive brand takes us.”About Sub
