GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–The Goose Creek Police Department needs the public’s help in locating a man they say shoplifted cigarettes from the Goose Creek Wal-Mart Supercenter located at 605 St. James Avenue on 04-13-2019 between 2:22 a.m. and 2:36 a.m.
Police say the suspect entered the Walmart Supercenter and proceeded to the cigarette register.
After pacing back and forth, checking his surroundings, he walked behind the tobacco register counter and utilized a green plastic storage container found nearby to fill with a large quantity of cigarette cartons valued at over $3,500.
The suspect then fled from the business.
