GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – Kendra Spencer was installed as the president of the
All Aboard Toastmasters Club during the club’s meeting on August 8, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Goose Creek.
Also installed were vice-president of education Sharon Arnold, vice president of membership and public relations Dawnita Hall, treasurer Helen Cash, secretary Valerie Gresham, and sergeant-at-arms Wendy Young.
Toastmasters International Area 13 Governor Erik Hund presided over the ceremony.
The All Aboard Toastmasters Club started 28 years ago to help people from all backgrounds become confident speakers and leaders in their community and workplace.
The All Aboard Toastmasters Club is also mentors and hosts the Take the Mic Public Speaking Workshop and Speech Competition for the Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina.
In the coming year, the club is looking forward to celebrating its 29th anniversary November 14 with an open house.
“We are in the process of creating a few other public speaking ventures that will benefit other community establishments. I’m excited for all the amazing opportunities including our upcoming open house and membership drive. Here’s looking forward to a successful year! A year of holistic growth, a year of friendship and a year of success. All Aboard Toastmasters, we’ve only just begun,” said Toastmaster Spencer.
