Airbnb recently announced that its Disaster Response Program is now active to help individuals who may be impacted by Hurricane Dorian in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Alabama.
Hosts in the regions marked on the map above are opening their homes for free from August 31, 2019 to September 16, 2019 for the following groups:
- Displaced neighbors
- Relief workers deployed to help

To take advantage of the opportunity, guests must first create a free, verified Airbnb account or log into their current account. From there, guests located in the affected area may view $0 listings by clicking “Find housing on a disaster-response page like this.”
In addition to waiving all booking fees and providing the technology to facilitate community-driven disaster support, all disaster relief guests and hosts also have access to Airbnb’s 24/7 customer support and policies, including the Host Guarantee.
