BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–If you’re expecting your mail or a package to arrive this week in the Lowcountry, you may be out of luck.
The United States Postal Service announced Monday that it is temporarily suspending delivery service in parts of the southeastern United States due to extreme weather conditions caused by Hurricane Dorian.
In Berkeley County, the following Post Offices are temporarily closed until further notice.
Because several counties in South Carolina have been mandated to evacuate as of noon EST on Sept. 2, USPS officials say this has impacted 83 Post Offices across the Lowcountry.
