HANAHAN, S.C. – The City of Hanahan offices have reopened on a limited basis.
The following services are now available:
–Trash collection: It has resumed as well as storm debris clean up.
–Building and Codes Department: The department is available to issue emergency repair permits, if needed.
All emergency services will continue supporting citizens as the cleanup efforts continue, according to Hanahan officials.
Keep in mind that after the storm passes the danger is not over, they stressed. Downed power lines and standing water can be life-threatening.
On Monday, September 9th, 2019, the city will resume normal day-to-day operations.
