PINEVILLE, S.C.–Firefighters responded to a mobile home fire shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Eadytown Metro Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived to the area of Matilda Circle in Pineville, they found an old trailer engulfed in flames.
Fortunately, no one was inside the trailer at the time of the fire. Firefighters say the structure was currently being used for storage.
More than 8,000 gallons of water was used to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire is not known.
Eadytown Metro Fire Department along with Pineville-Russellville Rural Fire Department, St. Stephen Fire Department, Bonneau Rural Fire Department and Berkeley County EMS responded to the scene.
