GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the teen victim of a fatal Goose Creek shooting that occurred Sunday evening.
The victim, identified as Roy Calhoun III, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.
According to Goose Creek police, at 8:53 p.m. officers responded to the 300-block of Adeline Drive in the Boulder Bluff subdivision Goose Creek following reports of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, police say they located two victims in the side yard of the residence.
Calhoun succumbed to his injuries on scene, according to police. The other person was transported to Trident Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
