BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – One person has died following a mobile home fire in Summerville.
Just before 10 a.m. on Thursday, fire crews responded to a structure fire along the 12-hundred block of Leisure Drive.
Multiple fire agencies arrived on scene including: Pine Ridge Fire Department, Whitesville Fire Department, Longridge Fire Department and Summerville Fire Department.
Crews were able to put the fire out before 11 a.m.

Berkeley County Coroner George Oliver and Deputy Coroner Darnell Hartwell were called to the scene.
One person was taken to Trident Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries as a result of the mobile home fire.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
