MONCKS CORNER, S.C. — Celebrate The Season is back for its 9th year and is ready to spread holiday cheer. The Holiday Lights Driving Tour kicks off the season on Friday, Nov. 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. and continues through Dec. 30.
The Holiday Lights Driving Tour features animated seasonal and Lowcountry light displays winding through the natural beauty of the Old Santee Canal Park. Admission is only $5 per vehicle and proceeds benefit local charities. Since 2011, Celebrate The Season donated more than $880,000 to local organizations.
Quick Guide to the Holiday Lights Driving Tour:
- Enter at 1 Riverwood Dr., Moncks Corner
- 6 to 9 p.m. from Nov. 29-Dec. 30 (closed Dec. 24 & 25)
- $5 per vehicle (cash only), proceeds benefit local charities

The Holiday Fairs will take place at the Moncks Corner Regional Recreation Complex and will feature rides, craft fairs, visits with Santa Claus and more. The Holiday Fairs begin on Friday, Dec. 6, and continue every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 22.

Also returning this year is the Tinsel Trot 2-mile Fun Run & Walk, which takes place from 5:30-8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23. The Tinsel Trot gives participants a sneak peek of the colorful light displays. Registration information can be found at www.celebratetheseason.org/tinseltrot.
