GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – On Tuesday, Dec. 3, there will be a FREE training on how to recognize and respond to an overdose emergency. The session will be 6-7 p.m. at Goose Creek Police Dept., located at 519 N. Goose Creek Boulevard.
This training is recommended for anyone at risk of an opioid overdose or for friends and family members of someone at risk. Healthcare providers, social services providers, law enforcement and emergency response providers may also learn from the session.
In addition to the Goose Creek Police Dept., event sponsors include The Ernest E. Kennedy Center, WakeUp Carolina and the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
