HANAHAN, S.C. – Hanahan firefighters desperately hope to find their beloved dog. The adorable pup, whose name is Ash, has been missing for nearly a week from the fire station, which is located on Campbell Road near city hall.
Pet Helpers and Battalion Chief Lee Bailey have put up $2,000 reward for Ash’s safe return.
According to Pet Helpers, Ash was last seen on May 22 around 11 p.m. at the station.
He is an 8-month-old sweetheart, loved by all of his fellow firefighters. Firefighters rescued him as a puppy when one of the crew members found him in a swamp.
Ash is an indoor dog who gets spooked quite easily, Pet Helpers said. He loves cuddling and wrestling with his firefighting friends.
If you see Ash or have any information on his whereabouts, please call 843-926-2830.
