HANAHAN, S.C. – The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and the City of Hanahan are hosting a FREE COVID-19 testing event this weekend.
It will take place this Saturday, Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m at the Hanahan Fire Department, which is located at 5826 Campbell St.
According to Berkeley County officials, the event is an opportunity for students and educators to get tested prior to the start of the new school year.
No appointment is needed; county officials said people will be tested on a first-come, first-served basis.
