GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – Goose Creek recently received the 2020 Most Courageous Cities Award for South Carolina from Insurify.
The city was awarded the honor based on its residents’ dedication to going above and beyond to serve their communities and nation.
The data scientists at Insurify analyzed over 2.5 million insurance applications to determine the city in each state with the highest share of military service members, veterans, and other defenders of public safety such as firefighters, law enforcement officials, and emergency medical technicians.
“These brave individuals who tirelessly put their lives on the line to protect the public, day after day, are admirable in their dedication to their communities,” said Snejina Zacharia, CEO of Insurify. “With this award, we wish to recognize the city in each state that shows an exemplary commitment to the safety of its residents.”
