MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – The coronavirus may have canceled many popular holiday traditions around the country this year; however, the Moncks Corner Christmas tree lighting event, nighttime parade and holiday fair will go on without a hitch.
Christmas Tree Lighting
The town will kick off the holidays with its 27th annual Christmas tree lighting event on Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. at the Market Pavilion, which is at 418 East Main St.

Nighttime Christmas Parade
On Dec. 5, the town will host its annual Christmas parade at 6 p.m. along Main Street in downtown Moncks Corner.
Get into the holiday spirit with friends and family as you watch the nighttime Christmas parade go by! Nearly 100 entries will pass by with beautiful lights and festive decorations.
Following the parade, come and meet Santa Claus at the regional recreation complex for photos and hot chocolate.

‘Celebrate the Season’ Holiday Fair
Come visit with Santa, cozy up to the fire pit and roast marshmallows with your family and friends, fun rides for kids and much more!
Remember your holiday wish lists and shop at the Craft Market with local artisans. Bring your appetite too! Local charities and nonprofits will be offering festive food and beverages for sale. But most of all bring your holiday spirit! (Please leave reindeer and other pets at home.)
