ST. STEPHEN, S.C. – Someone has attempted to put the “bah humbug” into one small town’s Christmas spirit. According to St. Stephen officials, a real-life Grinch recently damaged the town’s holiday décor.
Officials said someone vandalized the town’s Christmas tree as well as its lighted Christmas ornament display along Highway 52 this past weekend.
Pictures town officials took show Christmas displays knocked over, colorful lights busted and damaged wires.
If you have any information regarding this case, the public is asked to contact the St. Stephen Police Department at 843-567-3116.
