SCHP: Moncks Corner Man Charged In Connection With Hit-And-Run Of Child

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – A Moncks Corner man is behind bars following an accident that injured a child, according to Lance Cpl. Tyler Tidwell with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Nicholas Drew Myskowsky, 33, was charged Wednesday with leaving the scene of a collision with great bodily injury.

According to troopers, about 4:42 p.m. Tuesday, Myskowsky, who was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Camaro, struck a child along Vessey Drive near Charlesfort Way in Moncks Corner in the Spring Grove Plantation neighborhood.

Troopers said Myskowsky then fled the scene.

He was booked the following day into the Berkeley County detention center.
