ST. STEPHEN, S.C. – The coronavirus pandemic has taken a financial toll on many people across the country, forcing some to go hungry and turn to food banks or the community for assistance.
The need for food assistance is also great in St. Stephen.
On Monday, Jan. 11, the St. Stephen Police Department will partner with the community to host a free food giveaway.
The food event will take place at the St. Stephen Library, which is at 113 Ravenell Dr., from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Sponsors include Habitat for Humanity and Heart to Heart International Ministries among others.
